The iZone and Other feature allows an iZone controller and the OEM controller of the AC unit to be connected to the AC indoor unit at the same time, on selected compatible AC makes only. On affected firmware versions, this feature is enabled by default and can cause incorrect control commands to be sent to the AC system.
Affected firmware: CPU Module (C225) firmware versions v3.77 and v3.80.
Known symptoms:
- AC mode changes to VENT unexpectedly or periodically.
- Zone setpoint changes unexpectedly from the selected value to an out-of-range value.
- A setpoint of 10°C has been recorded during affected cases.
Nova and Nova Mini:
- Log in using your installer code on the Nova screen.
- Tap Menu → Settings → System Settings (ID number) → AC Settings → Advanced Settings → scroll to the bottom of the menu → change all 4 "iZone and Other" options to "iZone Only".
- Tap Settings / Configuration → insert system password
wamfudand enter → tap AC Unit Setup → locate the Master / Slave option in the menu → disable "Other" for all 4 options and leave the four "iZone" options selected.

White Nexus screens from production batches manufactured in late 2024 and early 2025 may fail over time. Root cause confirmed by the manufacturer as a non-dust-free manufacturing environment. Silver Nexus screens are not affected.
Symptom progression: Screen begins fading to white, then progresses to a fully white, unusable display. This progression has been consistently observed in the field.
