Emerald

Module used to integrate with an Emerald AC unit. The iZone AC unit module (C325H) connects to the CPU module (C225) to enable communication with a ducted AC unit.

Emerald Compatibility​

Confirmed compatible with C325H v2.4. Uses the same control method and wiring as Hitachi (TB2: A-B). Works as a Hitachi AC unit for iZone integration.

Notes​

Emerald ducted units listed above were manufactured by Hitachi per product owner discussion. Treat selection and wiring as per Hitachi C325H.

Sensor Options​

  • Can use RA, Zones, Master or RF as the controlling sensor.
  • Polarity is not critical on A/B communication pair.

Connection and Wiring​

  • Connect a shielded, 2-core, twisted pair control cable from the C225 / C325H to the fan coil control terminals TB2: A and B, with earth/shield bonded at the fan coil end.
  • Do not apply any voltage to this communication cable.
  • Wiring is identical to Hitachi C325H. Refer to: C325H - Hitachi
